inspiration<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1a44b0d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1a44b0d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>I am a coach <b>who listens with empathy and can sometimes ask challenging questions.<\/b> I <b>can reassure and encourage, while also inviting people to explore contradictions and less visible aspects of their thinking.<\/b> Because in my view, <b>tact can also go hand in hand with rigour.<\/b><\/p><p>My approach draws on several influences:<\/p><ul><li><strong>My business &amp; corporate experience:<\/strong>I spent many years working in marketing within both an SME and a multinational company. During that time, I conducted thousands of hours of interviews to understand the needs, expectations and reasoning of consumers, helping major organisations make informed strategic decisions.<\/li><li><strong>The systemic approach,<\/strong>which makes it possible to develop adaptive or breakthrough strategies that help people within organisations \u2014 particularly those who resist change \u2014 adjust to new contexts and achieve their objectives.<\/li><li><strong>Improvisational theatre,<\/strong> which is especially useful for role-play situations (job interviews, performance reviews, difficult conversations, etc.).<\/li><li><strong>An <a href=\"https:\/\/coaching-and-coaching.com\/en\/coaching-international\/\">international cultural mindset.<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Psychoanalysis<\/strong>, which has shown me just how much the coach themselves is their primary instrument.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>As a coach, I feel comfortable working on the side of creativity. Typological tools speak to me less, as it is difficult to resist the temptation to place people into categories. For example, I might support a client in developing the leadership stance required by an organisation undergoing transformation. But I would not claim to answer broader questions such as \u201chow to be a leader\u201d or \u201chow to change an organisation\u201d.<\/p><p>Put differently, I create the conditions that allow each person to develop new skills and behaviours suited to their current needs and their unique circumstances. In practice, this might mean adapting to a new corporate culture, a new organisational structure, or a new role.\n\nThis often requires rebuilding confidence and allowing oneself time. When we have to unlearn something before learning again, there are inevitably moments of imbalance and a gap between what we already know and our professional effectiveness. That is why, at a professional turning point, it becomes essential to understand one\u2019s aspirations, fears and resistances \u2014 and to use them to define an appropriate strategy and coaching representing around 250 hours of training in total. What are \u201cqualitative studies\u201d for? They help uncover people\u2019s needs and expectations, what motivates or frustrates them, and why they make the choices they do.\n\nDuring those early years, I learned that questions are only meaningful if they are asked of the right people. And that asking the right question \u2014 much like delivering a good joke \u2014 is also a matter of timing: ask it too early or too late in a conversation, and it simply falls flat.<\/p><p>Later, I joined Kantar TNS, a multinational organisation with tens of thousands of employees worldwide, as a Client Director, continuing to build on my expertise in qualitative research.
